When you jump in to the arms of your new sisters on Bid Day, you can hardly comprehend the meaning of this term- sisters. What is this catch-all phrase that people throw around and that everyone desires to experience?

 As time goes on, though, the word begins to form more meaning.  These girls are the ones that you laugh with, spend countless hours talking with, grab food with at any hour of the day, shed the occasional tear with when the weight of college just becomes too much, and the girls that you can go to with just about anything- the people who would help you through anything without a second thought. Somehow, you come to find that you have over 100 best friends who love you no matter what.

This becomes clear when you join Zeta Tau Alpha, as any sister can attest to. We come together from the very beginning, loving each other from that very first blind jump into the arms of our sisters and beyond these four years in college. The sisterhood and friendships that form are the kinds of friendships that last a lifetime!

Our sisterhood is further strengthened by the many sisterhood activities that our Sisterhood Chairs plan throughout the semester. These activities include movie nights, retreats, half-app runs, and many more, which give sisters the opportunity to put down everything else going on in their lives and to spend down time bonding with their sisters!
